About me

When I am not challenging myself with a design project, you will likely find me baking something. I always find an excuse to be baking, whether it’s having friends over for dinner or needing to have “emergency cookies” in the freezer. I especially like working with yeasted doughs and obviously we need to use our pizza oven once in a while to make it worth having!

I’m a creative soul, so most of my hobbies include being creative in one way or another. I love painting, depending on my mood it’s either fine art or something fun and abstract.

I love a good sunrise, there’s something amazing about being awake before the noise and watching the sun come up. Also, with a balcony like mine, it’s a shame to miss it.

I like to call myself an extroverted introvert, I love my friends, I love hosting dinner parties. Thanksgiving is one of my favourite nights of the year, and I’m not even American. But that’s a story for another time. But I do also love having “Me” time, which is usually spent at the gym or watching the Great British Bake off and sometimes ‘Friends’ when I’m feeling nostalgic.

I put strong emphasis on asking a ton of questions and doing a solid amount of research to understand the problem at hand. I review the data and use that as a base for creating low fidelity wireframes, which eventually become intuitive and meaningful high fidelity prototypes.

I’m that designer that’s always going to be curious to challenge the statues quo. I get really invested in every project, but in a good way - I really give it my all. My favorite stage of the design process is watching it all come together, creating a visual down to the last pixel.
